Interview: Finisterre x Outsiders Project

Back in August, I was invited by Phil Young and Finisterre to take part in a photoshoot, filming and interview highlighting my work on diversity in the UK outdoors. I already was familiar with the Finisterre brand and had been impressed with their commitment to being a more sustainable business, so I was excited to take part - although a little nervous about the filmed interview part. It can be tricky in interviews to make sure that you get across what you’re all about, but they did a great job at bringing it together.

You can read the piece on the Finisterre website but here is the full interview video.

Also interviewed for this project on the same weekend were marketing director and diversity advocate Phil Young and LGBT+ activist and swim instructor Omie Dale - two individuals doing amazing work in the space who I’m so glad to be able to count as friends now.

You read both their interviews and see the overview video on the Finisterre website.
