Lockdown Children's Plastic Challenge

I am very excited to announce that I am a judge for the Dopper Changemaker Challenge Junior – a competition to find creative solutions to plastic pollution. They are inviting submissions from children aged 8-12 years old and want to know what children think is the solution to our big plastic problem!

The competition is free to enter and the winning solution will have a prototype made, which will then be put on display so everyone can revel in the genius of our youth!

Kids can sign up online here. Once registered, Dopper provides a Changemaker toolkit to help shape their solution. Children can join on their own or with up to two friends, or if you are a teacher you can sign up your class!

The Changemaker Challenge was launched pre-lockdown, but it also works really well as a home-based activity. The deadline for individuals is the 28th June. Given the current circumstances with COVID19, teachers have an extension until 10th October.

If you'd like to watch me say most of that, you can watch the video below.

You can find out more about the competition and enter on the Dopper Changemaker Challenge Junior page, To find out more about Dopper, visit www.dopper.com.
